I am on a mission: a healthy and sustainable future for the kids, and I want you to share this mission with me. I believe there is a great path forward that will help us accomplish this goal, and that path includes our schools, money, and our only source of food, water, air, and shelter (aka the physical environment). More on that below, but we also have two very pressing issues that will require our immediate attention.

JOB #1: Handle the COVID19 pandemic with the seriousness it deserves. We are learning how to live within the confines of this wide spread illness, and we can continue moving forward in a positive way as long as we're smart about it.

JOB #2: Jealously protect our democratic institutions. Right now our ability to come together as peaceful citizens for debate and community decions is under dire threat. There are many who are advocating violence as a means of addressing political and social issues, and that trend can take us nowhere but down a death trodden path that will look like the Afghanistan, Syria or Central America of today.

JOB #3: The Big Idea! (<- that's a link).

Face it: our political system is no longer working for us. The arguments of the Democratic and Republican parties have remained substantially unchanged for generations.

Our future should not be left to the whims of a series of outdated and increasingly bad choices. New and positive solutions require new and independent thinking, and great results require working together. We can push the envelope, and we can work cooperatively.
